Welcome to the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships Volunteer Registration Website!

Rock Hill is hosting the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships in July 2017. We’d love to have you join in the fun and help us welcome guests from all over the world. More than 3,000 riders from nearly 40 countries will be competing.

Due to recent UCI BMX event schedule changes, volunteer time slots are currently being updated.

If you are interested in volunteering, we suggest signing up as a "BMX Event Volunteer" for the time being to enter your information. You WILL NOT be registered as a volunteer after doing so. However, once the volunteer positions are updated, we will send you an email notification letting you know that the updated positions are posted. You will then be able to return to the site to register for the position(s) of your choice, on the specific date(s) and time(s) that you are interested in volunteering. 

Thank you for your interest. Check out the details below:

1.  Requirements: To volunteer you must be at least 18 years old and able to carry out assigned duties. Many of these include standing. Typical volunteer shifts are three hours. Volunteer duties are specific and will have job descriptions. Team leaders will be available to answer questions.

2. Attire: Volunteers will receive an approved T-shirt to wear during his or her shift. Bottoms may be khaki, navy, black, or white. You may wear professional length shorts, skirts, or skorts. Please, no denim. We encourage you to wear sunscreen, a cap, or visor. And, of course, comfortable shoes, appropriate for standing (sometimes on asphalt.)  

3.  Weather considerations: This event is rain or shine. Please prepare for heat (it will be July in the south!) and rain.
